CRAZY SNOW!!!

Flip you guys- Kentucky sure is crazy!! We have spent the last two days inside while the snow just kept falling- unoffically 10 inches in our back yard. It's been alot of fun to watch this beautiful act of nature from our nice warm house.
We taped a '2 square' court in our lounge which turned into indoor volleyball...then hackey sac...aerobics class...definately some cabin fever here!!
Anyways, love you guys and hope someone somewhere has some hot hot hot!

Run Sarah Run!!

Hey everyone, here's some March Maddness for ya- all the way from Louisville, Kentucky! We had a 5k/3 mile race this morning, with- oh 8,000 other people!! The atmosphere was electric and by the time I'd weaved around all the annoying walkers, I'm sure it was a 6k race instead!(no offense all you power-walkers out there- but honestly, if you're going to go that slow- MOVE TO THE SIDE!!!).

The other photos where I'm running in my pink jacket are from a race a couple of weeks back when it was FREEZING! Got my best time ever though, cos when it's that cold, you just want to finish and get back inside :)

The group photo is some of my running peeps from the YMCA- where we have like a biggest loser challenge going on...lot's of fun! So I hear New Zealand is having this freakishly hot summer, while we're having a real bad winter....brrrr! They've cancelled school 5 days already because of snow and ice storms, with more bad weather predicted. In other news, Sarah is about to move her PE teaching into the cafeteria at school, as we're getting a new school built at last!! This will be interesting to say the least...as the very thing I'm trying to get across to the little kiddily-winks, is consistently contradicted by the grotesque eating experience they endure at school each day....hmmmm.... Where's Jamie Oliver when you need him?? Russell is about to head down to North Carolina for a 4 day church conference in a very beautiful area of the states and has just got over a pretty bad bout of the "man-flu"...

So, that's about us for now- we will leave you with Russell's Valentine message to me that he lovingly arranged on the dining room table...thankfully, our house did not burn down that night!

God bless ya'll :)
