6 months down, ??? to go...

Hi, hope everyone is doing real well! Today is our 6 month anniversary of being in the states and we thought we'd show you what we've been up to. We spent our birthdays (sat May 5th- russ turned 29/Sarah 26) doing the gardening...are we cool or what?! So check out the before and after photo's of our front and side gardens...back yard is ummm... a work in progress! Although, our pastor's kids (Greer & Elle, LOVE the little baby swing! BTW- that was here when we moved...there are no plans for any little bones in the near future- that's for sure!!).

We are settling into the whole "country" thing one little barefoot step at a time...Sarah really got into the groove tonight putting out the "trash" in her PJ's...some people round here don't even change out of their PJ's all day! It's already into the upper 80's (farenheit- lower 30's celcius) and considering our white trash car doesn't have air conditioning...we are going to have an interesting summer- especially when the humidity pushes the temperature into the 100's/40's-celcius :)

So team, needless to say we miss ya'll SO MUCH!! We LOVE hearing your news and just thanks so much for being so sweet on our birthdays...collecting the mail has never been so much fun :)

Oh and hope you liked the little video from our youth group outing to the BATS baseball game last friday...speaking of bats...I had the wonderful (not!) experience of stumbling upon a wee bat in our church kitchen this week....eeeeekkkkkkk! Very not cool...apparently they like living in the bell tower of the church...and they pop in to visit in the springtime.
