Sarah's first Marathon
Hey everyone! Sorry we've been so lazy with updating this...but ever since we joined Facebook....hmmm, well, anyways. So, crazy Sarah joined the other 12,500 runners at the Louisville Derby mini (13.1 miles/21km's) & full (26.2 miles/42km's) marathon yesterday. It was 86 degrees (32 celcius) and a long 5 & 1/2 hours, but oh so worth it!! All glory to God for giving us amazing bodies that can push the limits and oh what a great community feeling, to be encouraging each other as we all plodded along. Big thank you to Russell and Stanley who met me at the 22 mile mark and helped me hobble to the finish line. New Zealand represent! xx

old man winter
As you can tell...old man winter has arrived in kentucky. We had been getting some cold days before the storm hit (like 2-5 degrees fehrenheit/ -15 to -18 celsius) but now we are covered in ice and snow. We are doing some serious chi-laxing as school is closed until further notice....how strange is this place?? Hope you are all safe and warm like us and feeling so blessed that we can enjoy God's beautiful creation all year round xx love you all, Russell, Sarah & Stanley Bone

Happy Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone, we hope you are all good and feeling blessed like us! We have had a great day helping out with the community meal at our church, where we fed over 300 people who otherwise wouldn't have had all that yummy turkey, sweet potato casserole, pumpkin pie, cranberry sauce and stuffing...(on a side note, did you know the average American consumes over 3,000 calories during their thanksgiving meal!!).

Stanley in the Fall
Hey everyone, hope you're all doing awesome :) We are all good, working hard and just enjoying our crazy dog. The fall leaves here are amazingly beautiful and thanks to school being closed on election day Stanley got a long walk in the crunchy leaves he just loves!
As you can see, our little boy is an avid recycler and just loves to help his parents sort out the recycling...he is especially good in the cardboard box crushing department ;)
